Fund-Raiser Planned for Music Program
Boosters from Simi Valley High School’s music program hope to raise at least $2,000 to pay for students’ uniforms, instruments and competition entry fees at a spaghetti dinner fund-raiser Monday.
The money also will go toward a “good fairy” fund, which will aid those students with extra financial needs, said Linda Palmer, the club’s vice president.
About 500 people can be accommodated at Paul’s Italian Villa, 1951 Erringer Road, where the owner has donated use of the entire restaurant.
Students will be busing tables, acting as food servers and giving table performances from 4 to 9 p.m.
Advance reservation tickets are on sale for $7.50. Tickets can be bought through any music program booster or at the restaurant. For more information, call Palmer at 522-7648.
