District Offers Classes for Citizenship Seekers
Garden Grove Unified School District’s Adult Education program is offering free classes for people with limited English ability who are seeking U.S. citizenship.
Adult students enrolling in the classes will study history and government as well as learn to complete government forms and take written and oral citizenship exams.
Students should enroll in one class each week, offered Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9:10 p.m. or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Classes are held in the Lincoln Education Center, 11262 Garden Grove Blvd.
Ongoing registration takes place at the center Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
