A Nice Way to See Nice Museums
A new seven-day pass allows unlimited entry to more than 16 museums in the French Riviera city of Nice, known for its extensive art exhibits. It can be bought for about $7.20 at any museum or at Nice Tourist Information Offices in the city; since each museum normally charges about $4.50, according to a spokeswoman, the savings can be considerable. Nice has museums dedicated to Matisse, Chagall, Dufy, modern and contemporary art and primitive art. For information, call the French Government Tourist Office “France on Call”: telephone (900) 990-0040 (50 cents per minute).
