Two county tournaments, beginning today and finishing Saturday, highlight the schedule. Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar host a tournament that features Chelsea Rowlands and Capistrano Valley, the second-ranked team in the county, Alden Moore and No. 6 Newport Harbor, No. 7 Villa Park and No. 10 Foothill. Saturday, Newport Harbor hosts the semifinals, at 9:50 and 11 a.m., and the final, at 3:40 p.m. Western will host a tournament featuring ninth-ranked Esperanza. Western’s tournament concludes Saturday. Another big matchup features Marina, ranked fifth in the county, playing Long Beach Wilson at Belmont Plaza, at 4 p.m. Friday.
