Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly robbed several Whittier-area banks while wearing an Oakland Raiders cap and sweatshirt.
The “Raider Bandit” is a suspect in at least 13 bank robberies in Los Angeles and Orange counties in the last two weeks, said Officer Chuck Drylie.
Banks robbed include Great Western Savings at 15175 East Whittier Blvd., as well as banks in La Habra and Anaheim, said Drylie.
The suspect is described as Latino, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-9, weighing 140 to 160 pounds, with short black hair, possibly shaved on the sides, and a thin mustache and whiskers under his lip, said Drylie.
Anyone with information is urged to call Whittier police at (562) 945-8250.
