Sunstone Buys Marriott Hotels

SAN CLEMENTE — Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. completed its acquisition of two Residence Inns by Marriott in California for $30.5 million cash.
Sunstone said Wednesday it purchased the 144-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in San Diego for about $17 million and the 126-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Sacramento for about $13.5 million. Sunstone is a real estate investment trust.
