Westlake High PTA to Hold Meeting

The Westlake High School Parent Teacher Student Assn. is holding its monthly meeting Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Any interested member is invited to hear an update from the school’s principal, Curt Luft, and have lunch with the school’s visual arts department.
Association President Ethel Larrisey said updates about the school’s wrestling team will be announced. The season was canceled in December after some members of the team were accused of hazing other students with a dry mop handle, which the team had made its unofficial mascot and named “Pedro.”
Refreshments will be served beginning at 9 a.m. before the meeting, which will be held at 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Road in the school’s main building.
