Whither the mall, Tapo Street and the police station?
Mayor Greg Stratton will answer those questions and more when he presents his annual “State of the City” address at a chamber of commerce luncheon Jan. 22.
Stratton will offer a preview of 1998’s happenings--including the opening of a new police station, the status of a long-craved regional mall at 1st Street and the Ronald Reagan Freeway and the ongoing effort to spruce up the troubled Tapo Street shopping area.
The luncheon is to begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 999 Enchanted Way. Tickets cost $15 for chamber members and $20 for nonmembers. Table sponsorships are available for $150.
For information, call the chamber at 526-3900.
