Oxnard’s Carnegie Art Museum will offer free drawing classes for 25 fourth- and fifth-grade students in January and February.
Artist and bilingual instructor “Chuy” Rangel will teach the “Neighbor KIDS” program, offering instruction in drawing with pencils, crayons, pastels and markers.
If more than 25 students apply, priority will be given to those in need and who live in the neighborhood around the museum.
Classes will be held Fridays 3-4:30 p.m. Jan. 9, 16, 30 and Feb. 6. For more information call 385-8157 or stop by the museum at 424 South C St., next to Plaza Park.
