Granada Hills Gets Home Free, 62-61

Jessica Cosby made two free throws with 11 seconds remaining Wednesday night to give the Granada Hills High girls’ basketball team a 62-61 victory over Franklin in a quarterfinal game at Granada Hills.
With the Highlanders (17-4) trailing, 61-60, Cosby, who had 33 points and 21 rebounds, was fouled on a drive.
Franklin (19-7), which made 11 three-point baskets, led, 39-33, at halftime.
Granada Hills play Fairfax in the semifinals.
Fairfax 62, Birmingham 37--Michelle Tompkins and LaTanya Tibbs helped Fairfax to a 3-A quarterfinal victory at home.

Narbonne 93, El Camino Real 45--Adrionna Fike scored 19 points, including four three-point baskets for the Gauchos in a quarterfinal victory at Narbonne.
It was the 17th consecutive victory for Narbonne (23-4), ranked sixth in the nation by USA Today.
Narbonne does not have a senior in the lineup.
Westchester 62, Taft 35--Quisha Melton scored 10 points for Taft (16-6) in a quarterfinal game at Westchester.
