“I think the 1996 Benton Lane Pinot Noir from Oregon is really quite nice. I hate to be praising Pinot Noir, making only Cabernet, but I’ve always maintained that Pinot Noir country would turn out to be some coastal region in Oregon or somewhere else and not the Napa Valley, necessarily, and I think this is a good example of that.”
