IRVINE — Newport Corp. said its MikroPrecision Instruments unit received a $4-million order from Therma-Wave Inc., the largest single order in Newport’s 28-year history, for precision-motion systems.
Newport Corp. makes and markets instruments, components and systems for fiber-optic communications, semiconductor equipment, and scientific research markets.
