The item about Glendale’s Moonlight Rollerway (“Roll With It,” by Jon Regardie, So SoCal, Dec. 21) recalled this vignette:
As my friend and I joined the line waiting for the doors to open, three teenagers with skates in hand asked, “How come there are so many old people here?”
I replied: “It’s Tuesday, Old-Timers’ Night. They have live organ music.”
Bringing about one confused girl’s question:
“What’s an organ?”
