Villa Park 51, Loara 42--Bianca Larson (16 rebounds) scored 18 points, nine in fourth quarter, to hold Loara’s rally. Shawna Walker led Loara (16-10) with 16 points. Villa Park (19-5) will play Bellflower.
In Division I-AA:
Capistrano Valley 67, Channel Islands 54--Monique Mathews had 24 points and 21 rebounds for Capistrano Valley (21-6). Sarina Kissel added 18 points. Capistrano Valley will face El Toro.
El Toro 58, Rowland Heights Rowland 52--Giuliana Mendiola scored 21 for El Toro (25-2).
Esperanza 70, Moreno Valley Canyon Springs 56--Leah Combs scored 28 points and had 11 rebounds for host Esperanza (19-8), which will play Eisenhower.
In Division I-A:
Edison 64, Corona Centennial 45--Christina Patterson led host Edison with 24 points and Michelle Zylstra had 20 points.
Mater Dei 63, Ventura 48--Maile Shimoda scored 15 of her 21 points in the second quarter for Mater Dei (14-13), which hosts top-seeded Cerritos.
San Clemente 73, Walnut 33--Debby Caine’s 12 assists broke Emily Ela’s 1995 school record for San Clemente (24-4), which plays North Torrance, a 73-48 winner over Aliso Niguel.
In Division II-A:
Sonora 68, Pacifica 55--Brandi Davis scored 25 points as Sonora reached the quarterfinals for the first time in more than 10 years. Sonora (18-7) will play Glendora St. Lucy’s.
Valencia 53, Hacienda Heights Wilson 51--Heather Hoppe and Monika Jackley scored 17 apiece for Valencia, which plays No. 1 La Puente Bishop Amat.
In Division III-AA:
Ocean View 56, Fullerton 35--Anna Lembke scored 23 points, had 14 rebounds and five blocks for Ocean View (12-15), which plays Rosary.
Rosary 77, Lakewood Mayfair 53--Maggie Barnett scored 22 for Rosary (16-11).
In Division V-AA:
La Verne Lutheran 39, Connelly 36--Diane Kelly and Jamie Poon scored 12 apiece for the Koalas .
