McKinney Accuser Tells of Encounter

The one woman to claim she was forced into having sex with the Army’s former top enlisted man said she never wanted anyone to know. Sgt. Christine Roy, 25, testified at the sexual-misconduct court-martial at Ft. Belvoir of Sgt. Maj. Gene C. McKinney, 47. Roy, who was eight months’ pregnant at the time, said the incident occurred at his home in October 1996. She said he paid no heed when she tried to push him away. Roy is the last of McKinney’s six accusers to testify.
