Conference Could Do Wonders for Visual Artists’ Images

Get moving if you’re going to the Animation Technology Conference & Exposition, which runs Tuesday through Friday at the Pasadena Center.
In addition to displays and demonstrations by more than 60 companies, the conference will include 72 technical sessions on such topics as the history of animation, motion capture, story-boarding, 3-D textures and digital worlds.
Associated with the event is the World Animation Celebration, a week of screenings and competitions that starts today at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
