Simi Valley is seeking volunteers to serve on its Water Resources Advisory Board, which makes recommendations to the City Council and to the Ventura County Waterworks District’s Board of Directors.
Two regular positions and one alternate post will be filled by official appointment. Those selected will serve a four-year term.
Appointments to the board will be made by the City Council and the Ventura County Waterworks District directors.
Created in 1979, the Water Resources Advisory Board provides residents with an opportunity to advise the city regarding water and sanitation issues.
Board members will be asked to provide input to the City Council and the district on everything from service changes to budgets to setting service rates for customers.
For information on how to volunteer, call the district engineer’s office at 583-6805 on or before Feb. 25.
