Firm Hired to Tally School Survey Results

The Moorpark Unified School District has hired a Los Angeles company to tabulate final results of a survey asking parents what programs would attract them to the new Walnut Canyon School.
District officials announced at Tuesday’s board meeting that the results will be shared with parents next week during a meeting to study the attendance boundaries.
The results will be one of the factors trustees look at in determining the new attendance boundaries for the fall. If enough parents are interested in sending their children to Walnut Canyon School, fewer students will have to be shifted during the boundary changes.
Survey results, to be analyzed by Godbe Research and Analysis in Los Angeles, will be announced at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Flory School auditorium, 240 Flory Ave.
