* “The Seagull”--A new English translation of Chekhov’s Russian classic, with Gildart Jackson, above left, and Fran-Serene Spero, is playing at the Hollywood Court Theatre until Feb 21.
* “The Unsinkable Molly Brown”--The musical about a backwoods belle who became the toast of high society opens Friday at Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton and runs until March 1.
* “Greater Tuna”--Joe Sears and Jaston Williams portray 20 eccentric residents of the small, mythical town of Tuna, Texas, in the comedy continuing at La Mirada Theatre through Sunday.
