A Timely Tick Tip

The column that appeared Nov. 23 (“Lyme Disease Vaccine in the Works,” The Healthy Traveler) was most fortunate for me.
I had been in New York state earlier that month and was bitten by a tick. Until I read the description of a “bull’s-eye rash” surrounding the bite area, I had no idea that this was an indication of possible Lyme disease infection. My doctor immediately prescribed an antibiotic.
Not only do I thank the author for a very comprehensive article--may I also suggest you rerun the column during tick season?
