Transit Agency

The only ways a semi-independent Valley transit zone (“Separate Agency for Valley Transit Discussed,” Jan. 30) could cut costs are, first, to use smaller, older, rickety buses, and second, to cut drivers’ wages in half. Farfetched? No. Look at the city Department of Transportation DASH buses and the Foothill Transit District.
Once more, the Valley goes second class.
