Target Stores is donating $5,000 to the Orange County Chapter of the Trauma Intervention Program.
The donation will support the TIP4Kids program, which assists children traumatized by tragedy.
“Children are often overlooked after a tragic event,” said founder Wayne Fortin. “They are usually quiet and do not tell adults how they are feeling and what they need.”
The TIP4Kids program also helps guide parents through the process of supporting a child’s recovery.
The grant will be used to buy educational materials and supplies.
