Shots Fired at Woman Feeding Pigs

LLANO — Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday searched for a gunman who allegedly opened fire on a woman who was about to begin feeding her pigs in this rural Antelope Valley town.
The woman told deputies that she was just about to begin her chores around 10 a.m. when she saw a man standing beside a pickup truck at the end of her driveway on 233rd Street East.
“He said he was going to kill her and then he started shooting,” said Sgt. Dave Sauer of the sheriff’s Palmdale station.
The woman told investigators the man fired at least two shots before yelling, “I’m going to kill everybody,” then jumping into his truck and speeding away, Sauer said.
Sauer said a land and air search of the area turned up no sightings of the gunman, whom the woman described as white, weighing 300 pounds, with long dark hair.
He said the woman discovered spent shell casings and live ammunition in her driveway.
Detectives were unable to find anyone who saw or heard the shooting, Sauer said.
