The City Council is seeking residents to fill two vacant seats on the city’s Planning Commission. The commission reviews and recommends actions on zoning, land use and development issues. It meets every Monday at 6:30 p.m. Interested residents should send letters to: Mayor Peter Buffa, P.O. Box 1200, Costa Mesa, CA 92628-1200. The deadline is 5 p.m. Dec. 9.
