Gunman Takes Cash at Baskin-Robbins
Police are looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of a Baskin-Robbins ice cream store on Main Street in Ventura.
A man entered the store at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday just before it closed, covered his face with a T-shirt, then pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded money, police said.
The man, described only as being 18 to 25 years old, grabbed an unspecified amount of cash from the register and fled from the store at 2853 Main St.
No customers were in the store, no shots were fired and no one was injured, police said.
