The YWCA of North Orange County is looking forward to a bigger, brighter and richer future.
Newly hired Executive Director Jan Hester and Board President Sara Bergstrom will present a report on the YWCA’s financial status and discuss programming options at a special meeting today.
“I want the board to look at some options on how we can best continue our YWCA and solve some of our financial problems,” said Hester, who joined the staff July 1.
The YWCA’s mission in North Orange County has focused on serving the needs of women and children since 1928.
To continue that focus into the next century, Hester will seek volunteers to serve on YWCA2000, a task force to create funding solutions and programming proposals.
The public meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at the YWCA house, 321 N. Pomona Ave., Fullerton.
