Police Seek Identity of Man’s Body

Authorities are seeking public help in identifying the remains of a man who was found shot to death Sunday morning in an Irvine field.
Police said they believe the victim was Latino, in his late 20s to early 30s. He was 5 feet 11 and weighed 178 pounds. His hair was cut short on the sides and back, long on the top and possibly worn in a ponytail.
The victim was found wearing black Lee jeans, black Nike sneakers and a gray-and-blue patterned polo shirt.
A farm worker found the body near Highway 133 and the old Laguna Canyon Road about 7:30 a.m., police said. The victim was shot multiple times in the upper and lower body.
