Second Skateboard Park Ready to Open

Ventura officials will mark the opening of the city’s second mini skateboard park Thursday on the campus of Pacific High School.
The first park opened last month in west Ventura, and the third will open this fall at Hobert Park.
Each park is different, offering enthusiasts a variety of features, said city spokeswoman Beth Caputo.
The park’s grand opening is set for 2 p.m. at Pacific High, 501 College Drive.
