Gospel Music Concert to Benefit Youth Center
A dozen gospel choirs will perform today at a concert to benefit the Lennox sheriff’s station’s Youth Activity Center.
Choirs from Los Angeles to Lancaster will help raise money to purchase computers, software and educational materials for the children who attend the station’s computer learning workshop, said Deputy Isaac Gonzalez.
The concert will also feature performances by soloists, praise dancers and the Washington Preparatory High School choir.
Tickets are $10; children 7 and under will be admitted free.
The event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Lennox Sheriff’s Youth Activity Center, 11911 S. Vermont Ave.
