City Plans Meeting for Candidates

With the November elections fast approaching, the city has organized an orientation meeting for mayoral and City Council candidates.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the Community Room at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, representatives from the city manager’s and city attorney’s offices and departmental directors will meet with candidates to familiarize them with the city’s organization, administration, background and current activities.
Representatives from the Citizens’ Election Advisory Commission will also answer questions on election procedures and rules.
The public has also been invited to attend.
