Construction Forces Freeway Closures

All northbound lanes of the Ventura Freeway between Rice and Rose avenues will be closed from 11 p.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday for construction of a Rose Avenue bridge, city officials said.
The freeway’s southbound lanes between Vineyard and Rose avenues were to be closed from 11 p.m. Thursday through 5 a.m. today, city officials said. Detour routes are provided.
Construction of the bridge is set for completion in March. For more information, call the city’s message line at 339-1008.
