Alliance Imaging Inc.: The Anaheim provider of magnetic resonance imaging and other services said net income for the second quarter was $2.3 million, or 41 cents a share, down 4% from $2.4 million, or 22 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue climbed to $51.2 million from $20.8 million. First-half net income totaled $655,000, or 9 cents a share, which included an extraordinary charge of $1.3 million. Net income for the 1997 first half was $5.4 million, or 55 cents a share, which included an extraordinary gain of $1.3 million. Revenue rose to $82.5 million from $39.9 million. The company attributed the revenue gain in part to two acquisitions earlier in the year.
