Radio Theater Series to Present Seven Plays

L.A. Theatre Works’ live performance radio theater series will offer seven plays during the fall-winter season.
Actors Jason Alexander, Nell Carter, Loretta Devine, Arye Gross, Swoosie Kurtz, Linda Lavin, Joe Mantegna and others are scheduled to record “An American Daughter” by Wendy Wasserstein; “Six Degrees of Separation” by John Guare; “The Diary of Anne Frank,” adapted by Wendy Kesselman; “The Doctor’s Dilemma” by George Bernard Shaw; “A Small Hotel” by Jon Robin Baitz; “The Colored Museum” by George C. Wolfe; and an updated version of “Working,” based on the novel by Studs Terkel.
All performances will be recorded before an audience at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., for future broadcast on KCRW-FM (89.9).
Tickets are $28 and $32; half-price student tickets and “public rush” tickets are also available.
