Party Will Raise Funds for School

Celebrating the first new elementary school in the Conejo Valley in 20 years, local officials will host a kickoff party and fund-raiser Saturday in North Ranch.
The wine and cheese cocktail party and an art tour will be used to raise money to cover school start-up costs before Lang Ranch Elementary opens Sept. 2.
Jane and Hal Brooks will host the party at their home. Jane Brooks is an arts commissioner for the city of Thousand Oaks.
