Still Knocking on Her Door
I enjoyed Patt Morrison’s take on the end of the door-to-door encyclopedia salesman (“Door to Door No More,” SoCal P.O.V., July 12). However, I still have people knocking on my door constantly. Now it is an endless stream of real estate brokers trying to entice me into selling my home. I have had investment companies and all sorts of salesmen knock on the door, and it always seems to be at dinner time. Not long ago, a sweet woman came around selling handmade potholders for a dollar. They were the best. I haven’t seen her in quite a while. I could sure use some of those potholders.
