Detectives and relatives of a 58-year-old janitor slain six months ago while cleaning a medical facility appealed to the public Thursday to help identify the killer.
Jesusimo Delacruz, 58, was shot to death Feb. 25 as he cleaned the Covina Hemodialysis Center, West Covina Police Officer Rudy Lopez said.
Police investigators said the killer fired several rounds from a semiautomatic handgun at Delacruz. Investigators have not determined the motive for the crime.
A $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer has been offered by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
