Flags Herald Planned Renaissance Fair
More than 100 brightly colored flags are flying citywide to herald the upcoming Renaissance Garden Grove, a city festival that begins Aug. 21.
Flags are posted downtown along Euclid Street and on Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue.
Renaissance activities will include family- and business-oriented events, including free concerts, ribbon-cuttings and a home buyers fair.
The city and the Garden Grove Community Foundation are sponsoring the festival.
