Nadadores Win Gold Medals in Diving

Tiffany Manning and Michael Hilde of the Mission Viejo Nadadores won gold medals Wednesday at the Junior National Diving Championships in Largo, Fla.

Manning won the girls’ 14-15 platform championship and Hilde the boys’ 13-and-under platform. Kimberly Driscoll of Laguna Hills won a bronze medal in the girls’ 13-and-under three meter.

Distance runner Heather Garritson of Buena Park High and high jumper Quincy Brown of Gardena High have signed letters with Cal State Fullerton.

Garritson’s older sister, Carrie, will also compete for the Titans after transferring from Alabama. Brown is a two-time state championship qualifier with a personal best jump of 6 feet 10 inches.
