SBA-Sponsored Center to Offer Counseling, Classes

The Small Business Administration has teamed up with two state agencies to offer a program of one-on-one business counseling and other services to business owners in southeastern Los Angeles County.
The Small Business Development Center will be run in conjunction with the city of Pico Rivera and offer counseling, resource information and one-day seminars on such topics as business plan preparation, international trade, basic bookkeeping, financial options and marketing strategies.
One-on-one counseling on business development will be offered free by professional advisors employed by the program.
Co-sponsors of the center include the California Trade and Commerce Agency and the chancellor’s office of California Community Colleges.
