A 33-year-old man was shot several times Monday morning, but he has refused to cooperate with investigators, Los Angeles police said.
Witnesses told police a group of men opened fire on the victim in the 8700 block of Van Nuys Boulevard about 12:30 a.m. and then fled.
The victim was hit in both legs and the buttocks and was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he is listed in fair condition, police said.
“It appears the victim should know who shot him,” said Det. John Edwards. “But he’s not saying anything.”
Police said they had few leads and no suspects.
