* BOND TAX RATE: The council will consider setting a new tax rate for payment of principal and interest for a general-obligation bond issue.
In 1968, the city issued $985,000 in general-obligation bonds to purchase four park sites and to make improvements at Kraemer and McFadden parks. The bond sale was approved by voters.
Proposed is a new rate of $0.00221 per $100 of assessed value. For instance, a resident who now pays $3.36 a year would pay $3.32 a year under the proposed rate for a home assessed at $150,000, city officials said.
