Civil War Museum to Open in Tennessee

A $3-million Tennessee Civil War Museum, fashioned from a redesigned warehouse and containing nearly $1 million worth of artifacts, opens next Saturday in Chattanooga, Tenn., focus of one of the war’s crucial campaigns.
At the 7,000-square-foot museum, funded by private investors, visitors can trace the fates of individual soldiers, touch swords and other weapons, view a 12-minute film about the war and buy war memorabilia at the gift shop.
