College Names Interim President

Alfred P. Fernandez, an educational consultant who served in various administrative posts at community colleges statewide, has been named Santa Ana College’s interim president.
Fernandez, of Ventura, will be at Santa Ana College until a permanent replacement is found by trustees of the Rancho Santiago Community College District.
Fernandez is helping trustees in the search.
The last president of Santa Ana College was Edward Hernandez, who last year was promoted to serve as chancellor of the local college district.
