UCI Vigil to Honor Victims of Rape

A candlelight vigil honoring rape victims will be held Wednesday at UC Irvine.
“Illuminate the Night” will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the campus Center for Women and Gender Education, across from the Main Library.
The vigil will include survivor testimonies, lighting of candles, music and self-defense demonstrations.
The event is sponsored by the Community Services Program’s Sexual Assault Victims Services and UCI’s Campus Sexual Assault Prevention Program. Admission is $4.
