Tensions Increase in Restive Kosovo

Tensions increased in Serbia’s restive Kosovo province amid reports that Serbs were leaving their homes in a volatile border area and Albanian separatists were digging in. A Serbian police officer was lightly wounded in an attack Tuesday, the Bosnian Serb news agency SRNA reported. An independent news agency also reported that the situation in Kosovo has been described by officials as “very difficult and precarious.”
