Meeting Planned for Eighth-Grade Parents

Esperanza High School will host its annual eighth-grade parent night April 21 to help prepare students for the transition to high school.
Counselors will provide parents and incoming freshmen with information on preregistration procedures, graduation requirements, minimum proficiency standards and college entrance requirements. An orientation program will also take place just for the eighth-graders.
The meeting is open to all students attending Bernardo Yorba, Travis Ranch and Yorba Linda middle schools, as well as to private school students within the Esperanza attendance area.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and will be at Esperanza’s gym.
