Applicants Sought for 2 City Advisory Panels
The City Council is requesting applications for appointments on two city advisory commissions.
Applicants are being sought for the Cable Television and Technology Commission, which reviews and makes recommendations on cable television and telecommunication issues. The commission meets the first Thursday of every month at 4 p.m. at City Hall.
The City Council also is seeking alternates for the Senior Citizen Commission. Meetings take place the second Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. at the Cypress Senior Center, 9031 Grindlay St.
Applicants for either commission must be Cypress residents and registered voters.
Applications are available at the personnel office at City Hall, 5275 Orange Ave., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information: (714) 229-6683.
