Ex-OCC Cheerleaders Invited to Reunion

Ever cheer, sing, yell or turn a back flip for Orange Coast College? Campus cheerleaders from the 1950s to the present are wanted for a peppy reunion.
When the college celebrates its 50th anniversary at its Oct. 11 homecoming game, it will honor former yell, drill, song, cheer, majorette and stunt squad members at halftime.
More than 100 former cheerleaders are expected.
“I’ve got people coming from the ‘50s, ‘70s, ‘80s and, of course, the ‘90s,” said Nancy Timmons, a former pep squad advisor and a college foundation member.
