In an attempt to strengthen local businesses in Inglewood, the city will begin offering free monthly business seminars today.
The forums are being offered as part of a business retention program sponsored by the Inglewood Redevelopment Agency. City officials want to retain the 18,000 small businesses located in the city and hope to attract more.
Seminars will deal with subjects such as protecting a business, estate planning and putting business dollars to work. Today’s seminar, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., will focus on how to increase profits while improving employee benefits. The seminar will be repeated Thursday at 6 p.m
All seminars will be held at Inglewood City Hall in the Community Room.
