Marina High Teacher Is Finalist for Award
Pete Snetsinger, a social studies teacher at Marina High School, is one of 13 high school teachers nationwide to be selected as finalists for the State Farm Insurance Good Neighbor Awards.
The annual award recognizes social studies teachers who demonstrate innovation and outstanding leadership in the classroom.
The program, overseen by the National Council for the Social Studies, gives 10 awards of $5,000 each, which are payable to the educational institution of the recipient’s choice.
